Our Mission
The Kanzen Heiwa Karate Association believes in the evolution of karate. Kanzen Heiwa Karate Do translated is "Complete Peaceful Empty Hand Way". We focus on teaching traditional karate in a modern way. We are focused on supporting & connecting with like-minded martial artists and martial arts school owners with the same beliefs. This organization focuses on concepts taught in the Okinawa & Japanese arts. Examples of the arts are: Uechi Ryu, Goju Ryu, Shotokan, Kyokushin, Shito Ryu, Kudo, etc. We are a supportive fellowship that looks to share insight, techniques, and friendship. While the kata may be different, these arts all share similar roots, and many technical applications remain the same. All members will be invited to any future upcoming seminars & events to share knowledge.

Affiliate Members & Association Supporters
Affiliate Members are those who study, train, or teach martial arts systems that are based in Okinawa & Japanese systems. They are modern or traditionalists. Styles such as Okinawa Kenpo, Uechi Ryu, Kyokushin, Isshin Ryu, Goju Ryu, Kudo, etc. They can be American ancestor systems that still teach the core techniques and kata found in the Okinawa & Japanese Systems. Affiliate members will be invited to future planned events to share in information sharing & fellowship. Affiliate members will receive a patch & certificate for their support. Kanzen Heiwa Do Goju Ryu Member Schools
Kanzen Heiwa Do Goju Ryu Members train & teach the core kata of Goju Ryu. The members may be from the Okinawa, Japanese, or American Systems of Goju, but teach the basic core fundamentals found in the original Goju Kata. It is noted that there will be minor differences in the kata, but the bunkai should be realistic and practical in nature.
The kata list is: Geki Sai Dai Ichi, Geki Sai Dai Ni, Saifa, Seiyunchin, Sanseiru, Shisochin, Seisan, Sepai, Kururunfa, Suparinpei, Sanchin, Tensho
